Luis Pérez González
Luis Pérez González (1875–1896) was a Cuban journalist, writer, political commentator of socialist tendency, and military officer who fought in Cuba's War of Independence. He was born in Cuba and died at age 21 in combat at Mangos de Nazareno, La Habana, on March 2, 1896[1]. He wrote articles and poems and is recognized as a martyr of the Cuban independence movement[1].
