Luigi Serafini
Luigi Serafini is an Italian artist, architect, and designer born in Rome in 1949 who is best known for creating the Codex Seraphinianus, an illustrated encyclopedia of imaginary things written in an asemic script and constructed language, first published in 1981. Working across multiple disciplines including ceramics, sculpture, and design, Serafini has collaborated with renowned figures such as Federico Fellini and contributed to the Memphis Group design movement.
