Louise Dayton

Louise Dayton appears to refer to Louise M. Troy, an African American educator and community activist from Dayton, Ohio, rather than a literary author. She was born in Xenia, Ohio, in 1860, taught in Dayton schools, helped train young Black women teachers, and was active in the YWCA and the NAACP.
