Louis P Masur
Louis P. Masur is an American cultural historian and Board of Governors Distinguished Professor of American Studies and History at Rutgers University, known for his works on 19th‑century U.S. history, Abraham Lincoln, the Civil War, and American popular culture. He has authored several books, including *The Civil War: A Concise History*, *Lincoln’s Hundred Days*, and *A Journey North: Jefferson, Madison, and the Forging of a Friendship*.
