Louis Bucciarelli

Louis L. Bucciarelli is an American engineer and scholar of technology studies, known for his work at MIT on engineering design, structural mechanics, and the social dimensions of design. He has also written on the history and philosophy of engineering and authored books including "Designing Engineers" and "Engineering Philosophy".[1][2]
