Lori Nichols

Lori Nichols is an award-winning author and illustrator of children's picture books, best known for her debut book *Maple* (2014) and its companion series including *Maple & Willow Together*, *Maple & Willow Apart*, and *Maple & Willow’s Christmas Tree*.[1][2] She also illustrated *Go Sleep in Your Own Bed!* by Candace Fleming and has received accolades such as first place in the New York SCBWI portfolio showcase.[1][4] Her work often explores themes of nature, family, and childhood experiences through heartwarming stories.[2][3]
