Lori L. Tharps

Lori L. Tharps is an American journalist, author, educator, and podcast host whose work focuses on race, identity, culture, and popular media. She is best known for coauthoring Hair Story: Untangling the Roots of Black Hair in America, and she has also written Kinky Gazpacho, Same Family, Different Colors, and the novel Substitute Me.
