Lori Copeland, born June 12, 1941, in Springfield, Missouri, is an American author of over 95 novels, initially writing romance novels starting in 1982 before transitioning to Christian fiction in 1995. She has co-authored works with authors like Virginia Smith and Angela Elwell Hunt, and her books include popular series such as 'Brides of the West.' Copeland has received awards including Romantic Times Lifetime Achievement, Holt Medallion, and induction into the Missouri Writers Hall of Fame in 2000.
