Lois Oppenheim
Lois Oppenheim, PhD, is a Distinguished Scholar and Professor Emerita of French at Montclair State University, where she formerly chaired the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures and teaches courses in literature, modernism, and applied psychoanalysis[1][2]. She is also a Scholar Associate Member of the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and has authored or edited over eleven books, including award-winning works on psychoanalysis and neuro-psychoanalysis[1][6]. Her publications include over ninety papers and notable titles such as Imagination from Fantasy to Delusion and A Curious Intimacy: Art and Neuro-Psychoanalysis[1][6].
