Liz Moore (born May 25, 1983) is an American novelist, screenwriter, producer, and Professor of English at Temple University, where she directs the MFA program in Creative Writing.[1][4] After a brief stint as a musician in New York City, she published her debut novel The Words of Every Song in 2007 and gained acclaim with works like the New York Times bestseller Long Bright River, a Rome Prize winner, selected by Barack Obama, and adapted into a Peacock miniseries.[1][2][3] She lives in Philadelphia and is known for literary thrillers exploring themes of addiction, family, and class.[4][7]
