Lito Tejada-Flores
Lito Tejada-Flores is a filmmaker, author, and mountaineer born at 13,000 feet in the Bolivian Andes who has spent most of his life in the mountains climbing, skiing, and sharing his passion through various media. He is best known for his classic climbing essay 'Games Climbers Play' (1967) and his influential skiing instructional book 'Breakthrough On Skis,' and co-founded the Mountainfilm Festival in Telluride, Colorado in the late 1970s. He has dedicated his career to raising awareness about environmental and social issues while living between Colorado and Chilean Patagonia.
