Lisa Wheeler
Lisa Wheeler is a prolific American children's book author known for her humorous picture books featuring rhymes, puns, and wordplay, such as Wool Gathering and the Dino series. Born in 1963 near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she moved to Michigan at almost 16, married right after high school, raised three children, and began publishing in her early thirties after years of writing as a hobby. With over 40 books to her name, she credits her husband and love for children's literature for her success.[1][2][5]
