Lisa Thompson
Lisa Thompson is an English author of children's books, best known for her debut novel *The Goldfish Boy* (2017), which features a boy with OCD solving a mystery. Born and raised in the London Borough of Havering, she worked in insurance after leaving school at 16, then spent years in radio production at the BBC and as a freelancer before publishing her first book at age 43. Her works often explore themes of overcoming challenges, with subsequent titles including *The Light Jar* (2018), *The Day I Was Erased* (2019), and *The Rollercoaster Boy* (2022).
