Lindsay Barrett George

Lindsay Barrett George is an American illustrator and author of children's books born in 1952, widely recognized for her striking illustrations of animals, birds, and fish in their natural habitats. She is best known for her Long Pond and Who's Been Here? series, which focus on nature and animal life. Her work has received significant recognition, including the Library of Congress naming Box Turtle at Long Pond a Children's Book of the Year in 1989.
