Linda Park

Linda Sue Park is a Korean-American author of children's and young adult fiction, best known for her Newbery Medal-winning novel A Single Shard (2002). She began writing at age nine and has explored themes of Korean heritage, self-discovery, and courage throughout her career. Park is also an educator and former food journalist who continues to publish acclaimed books for young readers.
