Linda Lewis

Linda Lewis (born Linda Ann Fredericks) was a celebrated British singer-songwriter and musician, known for her soulful voice and self-written hits like 'Rock-a-Doodle-Doo' and 'The Shoop Shoop Song'. She became the first Black British female singer-songwriter to enter the UK Singles Chart in 1973 and was often described as the 'Cockney-Jamaican Gracie Fields'.
