Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection

The Lincoln Financial Foundation Collection is not a person but a renowned archive of Abraham Lincoln-related materials, initiated in 1905 by the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to associate with Lincoln's values. It grew significantly from the 1920s through the Lincoln Historical Research Foundation and by 2008 became one of the largest private collections of its kind before being donated to the State of Indiana. The collection is now housed at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne for two-dimensional items and the Indiana State Museum in Indianapolis for three-dimensional artifacts.[1][2][4][6]
