Lillian Hellman

Lillian Hellman was an American playwright, screenwriter, and memoirist known for dramas that attacked injustice, greed, and fascism. Her best-known works include The Children's Hour, The Little Foxes, and Watch on the Rhine, and she was also noted for her refusal to cooperate with HUAC during the McCarthy era.[2][3][1]
