Lilli Carre (Illustrator)

Lilli Carré (born 1983) is an American interdisciplinary artist, cartoonist, animator, and illustrator known for her work in experimental animation, comics, printmaking, sculpture, and drawing. She has published graphic novels with Fantagraphics, including Nine Ways to Disappear and Tales of Woodsman Pete, and her films have screened at festivals like Sundance and Annecy. A recipient of a 2024 Guggenheim Fellowship, she co-directs the Eyeworks Festival of Experimental Animation and teaches at CalArts in Los Angeles.
