Lila Dare

Lila Dare is the well-respected author of the Southern Beauty Shop mystery series, a cozy mystery franchise featuring hairdresser Grace Terhune and her mother Violetta in St. Elizabeth, Georgia. Dare was born in Georgia and has lived in Alabama, Mississippi, and Virginia before settling west of the Mississippi with her husband, two daughters, and a dog. The pen name has been used by multiple authors, initially by Ella Barrick and Laura DiSilverio, with Joanna Campbell Slan taking over as of the fourth book in the series.
