Liesbet Slegers
Liesbet Slegers, born on July 26, 1975, in Geel, Belgium, is a Flemish author, illustrator, and graphic designer who graduated in 1997 from Sint-Lucas School of Arts in Antwerp.[1][2] She is renowned for her simple, recognizable style with bold colors and thick black outlines, creating books for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers featuring characters like Karel and Kaatje, with her works translated into over ten languages worldwide.[1][2]
