Leslie Zemeckis

Leslie Zemeckis is a best-selling author, acclaimed documentarian, and actress known for uncovering the stories of marginalized women in burlesque, showgirls, and circus history.[1][4] Her notable documentaries include Behind the Burly Q, Bound by Flesh, and Mabel, Mabel, Tiger Trainer, while her books such as Behind the Burly Q, Goddess of Love Incarnate, and Feuding Fan Dancers have achieved critical and commercial success.[1][5] She is married to director Robert Zemeckis since 2001 and has appeared in films like Welcome to Marwen.[2][3]
