Leslie C. Norins

Dr. Leslie C. Norins, MD, PhD, FIDSA (Emeritus), is a physician and researcher who founded and serves as CEO of Alzheimer’s Germ Quest, Inc., an independent advocacy group promoting investigation into the microbial causes of Alzheimer’s disease. He launched a $1 Million Challenge to identify the infectious agent behind Alzheimer’s, awarding $200,000 to eight finalists but no grand prize. Norins has published on the potential of anti-microbial drugs for Alzheimer’s clinical trials and argues that microbes are key suspects at the disease's 'crime scene.'
