Lesley Stone

Leslie F. Stone, born Leslie Frances Rubenstein, was one of the first women science fiction pulp writers, publishing over 20 stories in magazines between 1929 and 1940. She married William Silberberg in 1927, with whom she had two sons, and later lived in the Washington, D.C. area, where she pursued interests in gardening and ceramics. Her notable works include 'When the Sun Went Out' (1929) and 'Gravity Off!' (1940).
