Lesley Masters

Lesley Masters is a Senior Lecturer in International Relations and Diplomacy at Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom, with research focusing on science diplomacy, parliamentary diplomacy, and the global governance of science and digital technology. She also serves as an invited research associate for the South African Research Chair in African Diplomacy and Foreign Policy at the University of Johannesburg and has been an editor of the South African Foreign Policy Review since 2015. Her work critically analyzes the role of sub-national and non-state actors in global governance, with a particular emphasis on Africa's role in space and digital technology negotiations.
