Les Plesko
Les Plesko (1954-2013) was a Hungarian-American novelist and creative writing instructor, best known for his critically acclaimed debut novel The Last Bongo Sunset, translated into Dutch and German. His other works include Who I Was, Slow Lie Detector, and No Stopping Train, with stories published in Zyzzyva, Pear Noir!, Columbia Review, and The Newer York. He taught for nearly 20 years at UCLA Extension, receiving the Outstanding Instructor Award in Creative Writing.[1][2][5]
