Leonard W. King
Leonard W. King (1869–1919) was a British archaeologist and Assyriologist who served as Assistant Keeper of Egyptian and Assyrian Antiquities at the British Museum. He collected stone inscriptions across the Near East, taught Assyrian and Babylonian archaeology at King's College for many years, and published numerous works including translations of ancient texts such as the Code of Hammurabi.
