Leon Jaworski
Leon Jaworski (1905–1982) was an American attorney renowned for serving as the second special prosecutor in the Watergate scandal, appointed in 1973 after the Saturday Night Massacre, leading to President Nixon's resignation.[1][2] Born in Waco, Texas, to immigrant parents, he graduated from Baylor Law School at age 20, becoming the youngest lawyer licensed in Texas, and later prosecuted Nazi war criminals at the Nuremberg trials.[2][3] He also represented Lyndon B. Johnson in 1960 and authored books like 'The Right and the Power,' establishing a foundation through their royalties.[2][6]
