Lee Howard

Leon Alexander Lee Howard (1914–1978) was a British newspaper editor born in London and educated privately. He served with the Royal Air Force during World War II, earning the Distinguished Flying Cross, and later edited the women's section of the Daily Mirror (1955), Sunday Pictorial (1959), and Daily Mirror (1961–1971). In his spare time, he wrote four novels under the pseudonym Leigh Howard.[1]
