Leah Hayes

Leah Hayes is an Emmy-award-winning illustrator, graphic novelist, and musician known for her New York Times bestselling graphic novel 'Not Funny Ha-Ha' and her work as the leader of the band Scary Mansion. She creates editorial illustrations for publications like The New Yorker and The New York Times, and has also authored children's books such as 'I Touched the Sun.' Hayes teaches illustration at Lesley University in Boston and lives on a sun-soaked island off the coast of Massachusetts with her husband and two children.
