Lawrence Schimel
Lawrence Schimel is a bilingual author and translator born in New York City on October 16, 1971, who studied at Yale University and has lived in Madrid, Spain since 1999. He has published over 130 books in genres including poetry, children's books, fiction, essays, and graphic novels, often exploring gay, lesbian, and Jewish themes, and has won two Lambda Literary Awards. As a prolific translator, he works between Spanish and English on over 160 books.
