Lawrence Raab
Lawrence Raab (born 1946) is an acclaimed American poet born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who graduated from Middlebury College in 1968 and Syracuse University with an MA in 1972. He has taught at Williams College as the Morris Professor of Rhetoric since 1976 and resides in Williamstown, Massachusetts. His notable collections include 'What We Don’t Know About Each Other' (1993, National Book Award finalist), 'The Probable World' (2000), and 'Mistaking Each Other for Ghosts' (2015, National Jewish Book Award winner), with poems frequently appearing in The New Yorker and Best American Poetry.
