Lawrence O. Richards
Lawrence O. Richards (1931–2016) was the most prominent and prolific Christian education writer in evangelical circles during the last half of the 20th century, authoring over 200 works translated into 24 languages[1][3]. Born in Milan, Michigan, he held a BA from the University of Michigan, a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University, and served as general editor of the Zonderkidz Adventure Bible and co-general editor of the Teen Study Bible with his wife Sue[2][3]. He is recognized for outlining the most comprehensive theory of Christian education by any evangelical writer of the 20th century, emphasizing the transformation of believers to be more like Jesus[1][4].
