Lawrence C. Washington

Lawrence Clinton Washington (born 1951) is an American mathematician and professor at the University of Maryland, known for his work in number theory. He earned his B.A. and master's degree from Johns Hopkins University and his PhD from Princeton University under Kenkichi Iwasawa, with research focused on class numbers and Z_p extensions.
