LaVyrle Spencer

LaVyrle Spencer is an American best-selling author of contemporary and historical romance novels, born on July 17, 1943, in Browerville, Minnesota. She published her first novel, The Fulfillment, in 1979, wrote twenty-four books including twelve New York Times bestsellers, won multiple awards such as five RITAs, and was inducted into the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame in 1988. Spencer retired from writing in 1997 and lives in Minnesota, where she composes music and spends time with her family.[1][2][4]
