Laurie E Maguire

Laurie Maguire is Professor of English Language and Literature at Oxford University and a tutorial fellow at Magdalen College, specializing in Shakespeare and early modern drama. She has authored, co-authored, or edited ten books on the English Renaissance, including The Rhetoric of the Page (2020) and Where There’s a Will There’s a Way (2007). Her research interests span textual studies, theater history, Christopher Marlowe, and medical humanities.
