Laura Van Wormer

Laura Eleanor Van Wormer is an American author of fiction and non-fiction, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1955, and raised in Darien, Connecticut. She graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University after attending the University of Arizona, and worked as a Doubleday editor before becoming a full-time novelist known for works like Riverside Drive and tie-ins to TV series such as Knots Landing and Dallas. She divides her time between Manhattan and Meriden, Connecticut.
