Laura Lee Hope is a pseudonym used by the Stratemeyer Syndicate for numerous authors who wrote popular children's book series, including Edward Stratemeyer, Harriet Stratemeyer Adams, Howard R. Garis, and Lilian Garis.[1][5][8] Best known for the long-running Bobbsey Twins series that began in 1904, the pseudonym also covered other series such as Outdoor Girls, Bunny Brown, and Six Little Bunkers.[3][6][7]
