Laura Frantz

Laura Frantz is a Christy Award-winning and ECPA bestselling author of numerous historical fiction novels, particularly set in the 18th century, including The Frontiersman's Daughter and The Rose and the Thistle.[1][4] Passionate about history, she studied Shakespeare, 18th-century literature, and the American Revolution in England, credits her grandmother for her interest in Kentucky history, and writes her manuscripts in longhand.[3][8] A former schoolteacher, homeschool mom, and social worker, she lives in Washington State with her husband, is the mother of an American soldier and a firefighter, and originally hails from Kentucky.[1][3]
