Laura Baecher

Dr. Laura Baecher is an Associate Professor of TESOL at Hunter College, City University of New York, with prior roles including Associate Provost for faculty development at Kean University and Dean of Education Affairs at Tufts University School of Medicine. She has extensive experience as an ESOL teacher and teacher educator, and her research focuses on English language teaching, including publications like 'Reflecting on Critical Incidents in Language Education.' Baecher has also worked on international projects, such as advancing English language teaching in Ecuador through the U.S. Department of State’s English Language Specialist Program.
