Lars Brink
Lars Elof Gustaf Brink (1943-2022) was a Swedish theoretical physicist renowned for his pioneering contributions to supersymmetry, supergravity, superstrings, and supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory.[1][2] In 1977, alongside John Schwarz and Joël Scherk, he introduced the first supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories, and he later proved the UV finiteness of the N=4 theory.[1][2] He served as an emeritus professor at Chalmers University in Göteborg, Sweden, and was a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.[2]
