Larry Whiteaker

Dr. Larry H. Whiteaker was a retired professor emeritus of history at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tennessee, where he co-authored historical works on topics such as moral reform and the Civil War in Kentucky and Tennessee.[1][2][7] He authored 'Seduction, Prostitution, and Moral Reform in New York, 1830-1860,' examining reformers' efforts against sexual vice during the Jacksonian era.[4] Whiteaker passed away at his home in Cookeville on March 23, 2025.[1]
