Larry Sitsky

Lazar 'Larry' Sitsky AO, FAHA is an Australian composer, pianist, and music educator born in Tientsin, China to Russian-Jewish parents. He emigrated to Australia in 1951 and studied at the New South Wales State Conservatorium of Music, later pursuing postgraduate studies with Egon Petri at the San Francisco Conservatory. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to Australian music as a composer, performer, and scholar, with particular expertise in Russian avant-garde music and piano works.
