Lambert Sauveur

Albert Sauveur was a Belgian-born American metallurgist and one of the founders of physical metallurgy, known for his pioneering microscopic and photomicroscopic studies of metal structures. He emigrated to the United States, taught at Harvard University for decades, and wrote influential works on the metallography and heat treatment of iron and steel.
