Ladislav Matejka

Ladislav Matějka was a Czech-born scholar of semiotics, linguistic theory, and Slavic languages and literatures who taught at the University of Michigan. He is especially known for translating and publishing work associated with the Prague Linguistic Circle and for his contributions to Slavic studies.
