L Ron Hubbard
L. Ron Hubbard (1911–1986) was an American author of pulp science fiction and fantasy who founded Dianetics in 1950 with his book 'Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health' and established Scientology in 1952, later incorporating it as a church in 1954. He led the Church of Scientology until his death, authoring over 5,000 writings and 3,000 lectures on the human mind and spirit.[2][4]
