L P Holmes

Llewellyn Perry (Lew) P. Holmes (1895-1988) was an American pulp and western writer who published extensively under his own name as well as the pseudonyms Matt Stuart, Dave Hardin, and Perry Westwood. He authored numerous novels and short stories, including titles like Roaring Range (1934), Dead Man's Saddle (1952), and The Maverick Star (1969), often featuring lawmen, outlaws, and frontier conflicts. His papers, held in archives, include correspondence, published works, and page proofs from 1954-1966.
