L O (Luther Orlando) 1820 Emerson
Luther Orlando Emerson (1820–1915) was an American musician, composer, music editor, and publisher best known for his church music and hymn collections. He studied music under Isaac B. Woodbury, taught in Salem and Boston, and later worked as an organist, choirmaster, and director of musical festivals and conventions in Massachusetts.
