L Jagi Lamplighter

L. Jagi Lamplighter is an American author of fantasy and children's stories, best known for the Prospero's Daughter trilogy including Prospero Lost, Prospero in Hell, and Prospero Regained. She graduated from St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland, and is married to author John C. Wright with whom she has four children. A Christian Scientist, she began writing her first novel chapter at age 12 and published her debut in 1992 after starting it in 1992.
