L F. Salzman
Louis Francis Salzman (1878–1971) was a British economic and medieval historian, specializing in the medieval period. The son of a Brighton physician, he was educated at Haileybury and Pembroke College, Cambridge, initially studying medicine before pursuing history. He edited the Victoria County History from 1934 to 1949 and authored works such as 'Building in England down to 1540' and 'Henry II'.
